Nutrition
Diet has always been a key point in my approach to illness. It is the most effective way to tune in with the patient on an issue to which they are particularly sensitive. Through a change of diet the patient begins the path to recovery.
Nutrition is increasingly considered to be the true prevention of illness and instinctively, the issue that is faced when one wants to improve their health condition. The media is saturated with interventions from experts about this subject. It is extremely easy to be confused by the many viewpoints which often conflict with each other. Being faced with changes in dietary habits requires external guidance to ensure that these changes are rational and motivational. It begins with an assessment of the health condition and goals, then a diet plan which is set in relation to caloric needs and the organization of meals during the day, taking into account the personal tastes of the patient. It is not always necessary to make drastic changes; extreme diets are short-lived and after a brief initial success, are abandoned because they are neither pleasant nor sustainable for the long term. It is not always necessary to have to lose a lot of weight to feel the benefits of proper nutrition.
A diet created as a preventive measure provides the satisfaction of eating good and nutritional foods whilst feeling your body react with energy. On the contrary, following the impulse to eat foods that are too savoury in an unorganized manner makes us feel heavy and our day is made up of hasty meals made from refined foods or foods that are too sweet, too salty or too acidic.
The use of simple foods such as fruits, vegetables, cereals and legumes, cold-pressed oils and cooking with simple methods, adopting the habit of choosing organic foods, following the seasonality of various natural products, avoiding poor quality industrial food products, and if one wishes, also supplementing the diet with ethnic food of great nutritional value, can all provide the basis for creating a more fulfilling and purposeful diet.

Phytotherapy
This is the cure of illnesses through the use of medicinal plants. Each plant can have one or more active ingredients which, in synergy with other components of the plant complex, have demonstrated very precise healing effects on certain disorders, as evidenced by laboratory studies and clinical use or millennial popular use that has taken place. Knowledge of the healing properties of herbs enhances the therapeutic baggage of the doctor, who may use proven remedies almost always with very little side effects.
Modern Phytotherapy draws from the experiences of popular folk remedies from all over the world, deepening the scientific knowledge of the various remedies and obtaining standardized and reliable products. It is not about replacing drug treatment when it is truly necessary, it’s about remedies that can also be used in many different pathological situations, providing that your doctor knows the actual potential as well as the possibility of producing side effects or interactions with other drugs currently being used.

Neuraltherapy
This is a treatment method initiated by Huneke based on injections of 2% procaine.
It is mainly used as pain therapy.
Procaine is a substance with strong depolarising effects. Its anaesthetic effect is very brief and it has a low tendency to cause side effects.
Our nervous system can be energetically blocked on any level resulting in the wrong information sent to the brain resulting in dysfunction in various organs causing pain syndromes and other symptoms in all areas of the body. The underlying problem of the symptom can be located in a completely different area than the actual affected area, which we call the disturbance field.
A disturbance field can be created by:
- Traumatic or surgical scars
- Outbreaks of chronic inflammation (tonsillitis, sinusitis, dental granuloma, etc.).
- Foreign objects
The intervention of neural therapy consists of injecting under or near the intracutaneous, intraarticular, on nerve plexuses, on acupuncture points, in the area affected by pain or in correspondence with the disturbance field, small amounts of local anaesthesia with the aim of restoring balance in systems of self-regulation.
The indications for neural therapy are numerous:
- Neuralgia of every type
- Osteoarticular pain of rheumatism, traumas and sports
- Diseases of the ear (otitis, labyrinthitis, Meniere's disease, tinnitus, vertigo)
The therapy is well tolerated and does not cause side effects
